What are photo edit prompts?
Photo edit prompts are ready-to-copy instructions that tell an AI tool how to edit or create a picture, for example the style, lighting, background and mood. You paste the prompt into ChatGPT, Gemini or Midjourney, add your own photo if the tool allows it, and generate the result.
How do I use a photo edit prompt in ChatGPT or Gemini?
Open a prompt, press Copy prompt, paste it into the chat, upload your photo when the prompt asks for one, and send it. If the result is not what you wanted, change a few words such as the colours or the background and try again.
Which AI tools work with these prompts?
Each prompt is labelled with the tool it suits: ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, Leonardo or Ideogram, and video prompts for tools such as Veo, Kling, Runway and Sora.
Where can I find prompts for festivals like Diwali or Durga Puja?

What is the difference between a photo edit prompt and an image prompt?
A photo edit prompt changes a photo you already have, for example turning it into a pencil sketch or an oil painting. An image prompt creates a new picture from words alone. Many prompts here can be used either way.

AI tools give a slightly different result each time, and the quality of your own photo matters. Use a clear, well-lit photo, keep the prompt as written for the first try, then adjust one detail at a time.
